Have you submitted all your details to TCVT RA?

As is well known, the well-known TCVT certificate turn into a TCVT RA registrar in which the well-known practice registration booklet will also disappear. Instead, a digital pass will be introduced on which various things can be put. Of course, your registration number of TCVT RA including a digital passport photo. Other certificates can also be mentioned on this pass, which can significantly reduce the number of passes per person.

Currently there is a lot of confusion due to an email sent by TCVT RA was sent with a request for personal data. For many persons, an incomprehensible mail as one is sent from TCVT RA apparently did have the mail details and still asked for the data. The reason is slightly different.
TCVT and TCVT RA are strictly speaking actually 2 different organisations. One cannot simply just transfer the data of thousands of people from one organisation to the other. Under privacy laws, that is absolutely not allowed. That is why TCVT RA to the details as they would like to know where the new pass can be sent to and the current contact details of certificate holders.
Important for both parties is a correct exchange of data. The request concerns personal data such as:

  • full name
  • date and place of birth
  • current address
  • TCVT certificate number
  • ID proof ( no copy ) type, number and period of validity (e.g. Driving licence no. 12345 date of issue 1-1-2018)

Please do not send a copy of an ID !!!

You still need to activate the pass after receiving it

There are no additional costs associated with the interim conversion of certificate to registrar for the persons, these are at the expense of TCVT.
When the normal validity expires after 5 years, the costs are of course borne by the holder of the certificate/register
